Expert Answers about Chevrolet Hitch Pins and Clips

  • Availability of the Lock N Roll Hitch Pin Clip
  • I may have a solution for you, but there is not a replacement clip for this pin in this style. However you can use a standard hitch pin clip like the # C21600 and it will work just the same.

  • Availability of the Master Lock Pivot Lock Hitch Pin for a 2-1/2 inch Hitch Receiver
  • Although we do have hitch pins that are compatible with 2-1/2 inch hitch receivers, the Master Lock Pivot Lock Hitch Pin, like part # ML1495DAT, is only available for 2 inch hitches. If your concern is that you will lose the clip with a standard pin and clip like part # PC3 then I have a recommendation for you. I recommend using a locking hitch pin, like part # TR63253, which has a bulky lock in the place of a clip. Not only will it be easier to find on the ground if you dropped it,...

  • Availability of Hitch Pin For 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver
  • The two sizes of hitch pins that I carry are 1/2 inch and 5/8 inch. A 2 inch hitch receiver will use the 5/8 inch hitch pin like the Hidden Hitch Pin and Clip, part # PC3. I am including a link to a page of the 5/8 inch hitch pins that I carry. The Class I 1-1/4 inch hitch receivers will use the 1/2 inch hitch pin like the Draw-Tite Pin and Clip, part # PC2. The Softride Replacement Hitch Bolt with Lock Washer, part # SR25879, that you have referenced will only fit the QuietRide stainless...

  • Can I Purchase the Curt Class I HItch 11110 Without the Ballmount and Pin and Clip
  • The ballmount, pin and clip are packaged with the hitch and the installation hardware and we cannot separate them. Curt includes them, because on Class I and II hitches, only certain ball mounts should be used. If you do not want a hitch with the draw bar and pin and clip, I would suggest Draw-Tite part # 24839. Yes, you can use a load carrier or a cargo carrier on either of these hitches, so long as the cargo carrier is designed for use with 1-1/4 inch Class I hitches. The tongue weight...

  • Availability of Spindle Pin and Clip Replacement for the Pro Series Adjustable 3-Ball Mount
  • The spindle pin and clip for the Pro Series Adjustable 3-Ball Mount for 2" Hitches # 63070 has a 3/8" diameter and while there aren't any replacements, when I reached out to my contact at Pro Series he mentioned that you can use a standard 3/8" pin to replace this one instead of purchasing a new platform # PS63075. The closest thing we have that would fit is the Bulldog Adjustable Coupler Lock # BD580410 but it uses a 1/4" diameter pin so it won't fit as snug in that spindle pin location.

  • Do You Have a Spare Tire Carrier Designed for a 2 inch Receiver
  • We do have a spare tire carrier that mounts into a 2 inch receiver. The Curt Trailer Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier, part number C31006, is a very nice mount that is easy to use and can be used with locks to secure the spare to the carrier and the carrier to the vehicle. You will need a hitch pin and clip or lock to secure the mount to the vehicle. Either the # PC3 Pin and Clip or the # 63232 Anti-Rattle Device and Lock would work well with this product and to secure the spare you could...

  • How to Attach a 1-1/4 Inch Hitch Bike Rack to a RV Bumper Hitch
  • I would recommend to use the Brophy Hitch Reducer, part # HT02. This reducer will insert into a 2 inch hitch receiver on your RV and allow you use your 1-1/4 inch hitch bike rack. It will extend out from the original hitch pin hole an extra 3 inches. Hopefully, an extra 3 inches would not cause you any problems. It comes with a 1/2 inch pin and clip for the hitch accessory, but you will also need a Hidden Hitch 5/8 Inch Pin and Clip, part # PC3 to attach the reducer to the hitch. There...

  • Availability of 2 Inch Receiver Hitch for 2009 Toyota Matrix XRS
  • There are no 2 inch hitches available for a 2009 Toyota Matrix, however we do have a solution for you. We have 1-1/4 inch hitches for your Matrix and a nice adapter for making your 2 inch bike rack work with 1-1/4 inch receivers. First you will need a hitch. The Draw-Tite, part # 24812, has a high customer rating and would work just fine for a bike rack and includes a pin and clip. • Long Shank Ball Mount for Added Clearance While Towing
  • I'm assuming that you are asking about length of the ball mount and not the drop or rise. The Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches # AMSC4 is 12 1/4 inches in length from the end of the shank to the center of the ball hole, and 9 3/4" from hitch pin hole to the hitch ball hole. If you are needing a longer ball mount than that to have additional clearance we do have other options. For a fixed ball mount that has close to the same ratings and rise and drop measurements I recommend Draw-Tite...

  • Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock & Hitch Cover for Reese 2-Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver

In this size we offer a plain pin/clip # PC3, locks such as # BD580412 and anti-rattle locks such as # 63232. This anti-rattle lock works in any hollow-shank ball mount or accessory carrier to both steady it and help protect it from theft. I linked our main pages for 2-inch hitch covers, including plain rubber covers like # 22282 and # I-728 as well as themed covers.

  • Availability of 2-Inch Hi-Rise Hitch Ball with 2-Inch Rise and 3/4-Inch Diameter Shank
  • We offer a range of hi-rise hitch balls but none has a 3/4-inch diameter shank; all are 1-inch or 1-1/4-inch diameter. You can instead use a ball mount with the equivalent rise to accomplish the height adjustment you need. If you have a 2-inch hitch receiver you can use Draw-Tite Ball Mount # 2753, which provides either a 2-3/4-inch rise or 4-inch drop. This ball mount uses a hitch ball with a 1-inch shank, such as Tow Ready # 19247. If you need a hitch pin and clip you can use Hidden...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2015 Audi Q7
  • There are hitches available for the 2015 Audi Q7 and I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 13220 because of the durable powder coating that is used on Curt hitches; this will ultimately help prolong the life of your hitch by protecting it from rust and corrosion. This is a concealed cross tube hitch, so you'll get better ground clearance and a cleaner look compared to a hitch that is not concealed, and the 2" receiver makes it great for both towing...
